Before you begin muscle building, some people believe you should find out what your body type is. It’s important to know body type before beginning training because body type has a big impact on training. According to the somatotype system, body types are divided into three different categories, including ectomorph, mesomorph, and endomorph. People with ectomorph body types are characterized as skinny with thin muscles and hardly an ounce of body fat. Mesomorph body types are built with a solid muscle mass. Endomorph bodies have lots of fat, chubby cheeks, and a round face.
Ectomorph’s should work on gaining build muscle by doing compound exercises and training at high intensity levels. They should also incorporate nutrition for building muscles in their training. Mesomorphs should work on improving their physiques overall. Their training should include isolated exercises to build a well-proportioned physique and strict calorie counting. Endomorphs should work on losing fat. This can be done by doing compound exercises with an increase in reps, aerobic and cardio conditioning, eating proteins, and counting calories.
